Waratahs star Harrison cleared
Justin Harrison will play in the NSW Waratahs' crucial final Super 12 match against Queensland after being cleared by the ARU judiciary.
The second rower was cleared of misconduct charges arising from NSW's 29-28 loss to the Highlanders last Saturday.
Harrison was charged with bringing the game into disrepute and behaving in an ill-disciplined manner after an onfield dispute with Highlanders lock Filipo Levi continued after the final whistle.
However, both charges were dismissed at a judiciary hearing at the ARU headquarters in Sydney.
Harrison was relieved and looking forward to taking on the Reds in a game the Waratahs must win to have a chance of making the semi-finals.
"I am extremely pleased with the finding of the judiciary," he told reporters.
"I am embarrassed and remorseful about what happened during and after the game."
Harrison received a yellow card and Levi a red card following a brawl during the game.
Another scuffle broke out after the final whistle when Harrison, who was leaving the field, was approached by Levi, who had showered and was wearing his team uniform shirt and tie.
"I told the judiciary I wasn't wanting to continue the altercation after the game," Harrison said.
