Bulldogs sent $8000 brawls bill
The Roosters have reportedly sent a letter to the Bulldogs asking for $8000 to cover costs and damages from last Friday's brawls at Aussie Stadium.
Two police officers were hurt and eight fans ejected after a brawl erupted during the NRL match between the Bulldogs and the Sydney Roosters, which the Roosters won 35-0.
The Daily Telegraph reported that Roosters chairman Brian Canavan asked for the money to cover damage to 12 stadium seats and the hiring of extra security and transport.
"We've had to meet these additional costs because of genuine safety concerns raised by our fans leading into this game," the letter said.
