White, Hodge back for Vics
Captain Cameron White and dynamic batsman Brad Hodge have bolstered Victoria's team for the ING Cup cricket match against Tasmania at Devonport on Sunday.
Allrounder Ian Hewett was also named in the side for what could be his first match for Victoria in 13 months after a bad run with injuries.
Batsman Nick Jewell and bowlers Brendan Joseland and Mick Lewis were dropped after the 101-run loss to Western Australia at the WACA Ground on December 18.
The Bushrangers are third on the ING Cup table, while Tasmania is last, having not registered a point from four matches.
In a further boost for Victoria, opening bowler Mathew Inness will return to captain a second XI side against the ACT in a four-day match starting Saturday after three weeks out with a mild bout of glandular fever.
Victoria: Cameron White (capt), Matthew Elliott, Shane Harwood, Ian Harvey, Ian Hewett, Brad Hodge, David Hussey, Andrew McDonald, Jonathan Moss, Peter Roach, Graeme Rummans, Allan Wise (12th man to be named).
