Fevola fined for urinating in public
AFL club Carlton have fined full-forward Brendan Fevola $10,000 for urinating in public.
But Fevola has been cleared to play in Thursday's season-opener against Richmond.
But he has been stood down from the Blues' leadership group.
Fevola was sanctioned for urinating outside a Melbourne nightclub in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The 27-year-old has a long rap sheet of alcohol-related incidents dating back to 2001, which includes being sent home from Ireland in disgrace in 2006 after he was involved in a brawl with a barman during Australia's international rules tour.
He was also suspended for one game last year by Carlton for displaying a poor on-field attitude.
