Everton boss full of praise for Cahill
Everton manager David Moyes has praised star Australian midfielder Tim Cahill for his contribution to the club after missing the start of the season through injury.
Cahill, who returned to action for Everton in October after a persistent foot problem, netted two goals in Everton's resounding 7-1 victory over Sunderland at Goodison Park on Saturday.
"Tim underlines what he can give you," Moyes told the club's website, evertonfc.com.
"We didn't have him for the first couple of months of the season and we missed his goals at crucial moments.
"He got a crucial second goal against Sunderland that put it beyond doubt at that period."
Everton are eighth on the 20-team English Premier League table.
