Everton hopes to see Cahill fit
Everton are hoping their star Australian goal-scorer Tim Cahill will be fit for the club's Carling Cup semi-final clash with Chelsea.
Cahill has been out of action this month after suffering a knee injury.
But the Toffees' manager David Moyes said Cahill, along with fellow injured teammates Tim Howard and Joseph Yobo, could be fit enough to be included in the squad that will take on Chelsea.
"Tim Cahill and Tim Howard weren't available for Saturday, as was Joseph Yobo - they were all injured," Moyes told Everton's website.
"But I hope they will be available for this game."
Cahill scored a spectacular late equaliser when Everton met Chelsea in their Premier League match last November.
But a knee injury kept him out of the club's 2-0 Premiership loss to Middlesbrough on New Year's day and last weekend's 1-0 FA Cup third round defeat against Oldham.
