Kangaroos to discuss Arden St project
The Kangaroos will reveal the next stage in their Arden St redevelopment when the AFL club holds a media conference on Thursday morning.
A club statement said they "will make a major announcement regarding the future of the club" at their Arden St headquarters.
Amid speculation that the club might relocate to the Gold Coast, the Kangaroos and AFL agreed in late April that they would stay Melbourne-based for at least three years.
The Kangaroos are in the first year of a three-year deal to play some home games at Carrara.
The $7 million dollar redevelopment of Arden St hit a snag in March when Melbourne Council expressed concern about the plans.
The council, the Victorian government, the AFL and the Kangaroos had all pledged funding for the project.
