No guarantees on Brown's future: Doust
St George Illawarra boss Peter Doust has refused to guarantee the future of under siege NRL coach Nathan Brown.
Brown has come under fire with the Dragons winning just two from eight matches this year to sit second last on the ladder.
"In the business of coaching rugby league there are no guarantees and all head coaches are aware of this," CEO Doust told the Daily Telegraph.
Doust said however there had been no discussions about alternative coaches to Brown.
He said that it was wrong to suggest him having a friendship with Brown played a role in him continuing as coach.
Former leading hooker Brown has been coach of the Dragons since 2003.
