Hall free to face Eels despite charge
North Queensland second rower Glenn Hall will be free to face Parramatta this weekend despite being charged with a grade one careless high tackle in Monday night's NRL win over Melbourne.
Hall struck Anthony Quinn high as Melbourne were carting the ball back off their own line in the 22nd minute, the tackle leaving the Storm winger dazed on the ground for a few moments.
However, the Cowboys forward will escape punishment regardless of what plea he decides to enter.
South Sydney's Eddy Pettybourne will miss three matches after taking the early guilty plea for a dangerous throw charge stemming from Friday night's win over Parramatta.
The Eels' Fuifui Moimoi is out for a week after copping a suspension for hitting the Rabbitohs' Ben Ross high in the same match.
Meanwhile Sydney Roosters back rower Mitchell Aubusson is free to tackle the Wests Tigers on Sunday after an early guilty plea saw him dodge a suspension for a dangerous throw.
