Tigers to takes on Dragons at SCG
Wests Tigers will take on NRL premiers St George Illawarra at the Sydney Cricket Ground next season.
The Tigers will once again use four venues for their home matches in 2011.
Campbelltown and Leichhardt will host four games each while the Sydney Football Stadium is to be used for three encounters.
The SCG match against the Dragons will be staged in round 22 and will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the famous 1961 Grand Final between Western Suburbs Magpies and St George.
Wests Tigers CEO Stephen Humphreys believes the club have achieved a very fair split in terms of game allocations.
"It's great to see Campbelltown and Leichhardt have four matches once again and there are some exciting clashes at those grounds, Humphreys said.
"I'm really looking forward to celebrating our historical rivalry against the Dragons at the SCG. This is such an important part of our history and it will be an exciting time for the club."
The joint venture's opening home game will be against the Warriors in round two at Leichhardt.
