Lions appoint two new directors
The Brisbane Lions have appointed two new directors in the wake of former chairman Tony Kelly standing down from the AFL club's board.
The Lions on Friday announced the appointments of former ALP state secretary Cameron Milner and leading businessman Mick Power.
The pair join the board in place of Kelly, who stood down last month, and the retired David Liddy.
Power is listed as Queensland's 10th richest men following more than 40 years of experience in civil engineering, project management, construction and property investment.
The Lions, who finished 13th in a disappointing 2010 after making the second week of last year's finals series, are reportedly expected to post a $2 million loss this year
