Brisbane Lions unveil white clash jersey
The Brisbane Lions have unveiled a new predominantly white clash jersey for the 2010 AFL season.
The jersey, consistent with the club's maroon and red strips for home and away matches respectively, is to be worn in premiership away matches where there's a clash with the opponent's colours.
The Lions will sport the new strip for the first time in Friday's pre-season match against Hawthorn on the Gold Coast.
They will also where it in the round five away clash with Melbourne.
Three of Brisbane's four vice-captains launched the jersey at the Gabba on Thursday with full-back Daniel Merrett absent.
Merrett was involved in a training mishap with teenage midfielder Daniel Rich on Wednesday which has left 2009 Rising Star Rich in doubt for the trial clash with the Hawks.
The pair clashed heads in attempting a mark with the much smaller Rich coming off the worse and requiring 22 stitches.
