Lions claim big scalp for Roos raid
Travis Johnstone was the big name scalp when Brisbane Lions coach Michael Voss unveiled his side for Saturday's AFL clash against the Kangaroos at Etihad Stadium.
The classy midfielder was omitted along with Aaron Cornelius and Tom Collier following Brisbane's frustrating 16-point last round loss to unbeaten leaders St Kilda.
However, dual premiership player Tim Notting will celebrate his 200th game after being included on the Lions bench.
The Lions life member will become the 26th player to achieve the feat in the club's history.
Voss has welcomed back small forward Rhan Hooper for the first time since he injured his ankle two months ago.
The Lions have also injected Albert Proud and Lachlan Henderson into the team.
Henderson returns for only his second senior match of the season after booting six goals in the Lions reserves last weekend while Proud slots straight back in after withdrawing late from last Sunday's loss with a hip complaint.
