Swine flu disrupts French rugby
French rugby union officials have been forced to postpone the Bayonne versus Perpignan Top 14 fixture because of three cases of swine flu at Perpignan, officials said on Friday.
Saturday's match will now be rescheduled, although the league gave no timeframe.
Perpignan, the French rugby union champions, confirmed that "three players have contracted the H1N1 virus and all the players have now been quarantined until Wednesday".
The Catalan club is the second in the Top 14 to be hit by the swine flu after Castres, who had to postpone two matches at the end of August after several players were diagnosed with the virus.
