Crows rule Shirley out of Carlton clash
Adelaide have ruled out tagger Robert Shirley for Saturday's finals-shaping AFL clash against Carlton.
Shirley injured a hamstring in Adelaide's win over West Coast last weekend and will miss up to two games, the Crows said on Monday.
Key Crows defender Nathan Bock (heel) and forward Brett Burton (corked buttock) will be tested later this week to determine if they can return against the Blues.
The winner of Saturday's match between Adelaide and Carlton in Melbourne will secure fifth position and a home elimination final, with the loser likely to travel to Brisbane for a sudden-death final.
