Cats' Ablett ruled out for Hawks clash
Geelong star Gary Ablett has been ruled out of Friday night's big AFL clash with Hawthorn at the MCG.
Ablett injured his ankle during the round 15 clash with Fremantle and missed Saturday's top of the table meeting with the Western Bulldogs.
The Cats said on Tuesday the Brownlow Medal favourite was still experiencing soreness, but was likely to return against Richmond the following weekend.
Tagger Cameron Ling will also miss the clash with the Hawks, and possibly the Tigers game as well, as he continues to recover from a cheekbone fracture.
