Goodes continues great pre-season
The outstanding pre-season form of Sydney captain Adam Goodes has continued in Coffs Harbour.
Goodes kicked four goals roaming the forward line as the Swans overcame a lacklustre St Kilda 12.12 (84) to 8.5 (53) on Saturday night.
It was a night that will give the Swans plenty of confidence that their key position players can propel them towards September action.
Goodes combined well with Jesse White as they took turns alternating between the goal square and and high half forward.
Even more pleasing for new coach John Longmire was the job Heath Grundy did curtailing Saints skipper Nick Riewoldt.
The centre half-forward was held to only early goal despite the good work of Lenny Hayes and Nick Dal Santo in the midfield.
