Dockers name three first-gamers in squad
Winless Fremantle have named three first-gamers in their squad of 25 for Sunday's must-win AFL match against Adelaide at Subiaco.
The Crows are also coming off a tough week and have already made three forced changes to their squad of 25 following last weekend's loss to St Kilda.
Potential debutants Greg Broughton, Zachary Clarke and Matthew de Boer are among the Dockers' five inclusions, along with Daniel Gilmore and Clayton Hinkley.
Fremantle have dropped Paul Duffield and Scott Thornton.
Adelaide have lost Trent Hentschel (knee) and Chris Knights (eye socket) and suspended key defender Nathan Bock after his arrest for alleged assault.
Nick Gill, Jonathon Griffin, James Sellar, Robert Shirley, Scott Stevens and Brad Symes have come into the squad.
North Melbourne named Adam Simpson and Daniel Pratt for Sunday's Etihad Stadium clash against Hawthorn, but coach Dean Laidley admitted he is unsure whether they will play.
The club fined Simpson and Pratt $5000 apiece for their roles in the chicken sex video controversy and Laidley wondered whether they would be in the right frame of mind.
Sydney named an unchanged side for Saturday night's `Gabba game against Brisbane, but coach Paul Roos said key forward Barry Hall was no certainty to play.
Hall hurt his groin in last weekend's big win over Hawthorn.
"He will need to tick some boxes before the weekend. I think at this stage he's probably 70-30, or 80-20, but he's still in some doubt," Roos said.
The Lions surprisingly dropped ruckman Jamie Charman at the expense of defender Jason Roe.
That means young Brisbane ruckman Matthew Leuenberger will have a big test against in-form Sydney big man Darren Jolly.
Carlton regained star midfielder Nick Stevens from suspension and Shaun Grigg from injury for Saturday night's MCG blockbuster against Essendon.
Defender Michael Jamison (shoulder) and Heath Scotland were the omissions.
The Bombers promoted Leroy Jetta for suspended forward Adam McPhee, but young key forward Jay Neagle remains out of the side for the second-successive week.
Richmond named midfielder Mark Coughlan in their squad for Monday's Etihad Stadium game against the Western Bulldogs.
A succession of knee and hamstring injuries have sidelined him since round 12, 2006.
The 2003 club best and fairest winner had 41 possessions last weekend in a VFL practice match.
St Kilda and West Coast are coming off impressive wins and have named unchanged line-ups for Saturday afternoon's Etihad Stadium match.
