Collingwood midfielder Shane O'Bree is $900 poorer after pleading guilty to a charge of using abusive language towards umpires in last Thursday's AFL pre-season game against Richmond.
O'Bree accepted the sanction in pleading guilty to abusing the emergency umpires during the last quarter of the game at Etihad Stadium, which the Magpies won by 46 points.
His guilty plea means the AFL tribunal will not sit on Tuesday night.
