Cloke ban a blow for Collingwood
Collingwood key forward Travis Cloke will miss upcoming matches against St Kilda and Richmond after pleading guilty to striking Port Adelaide's Travis Boak last weekend.
Cloke risked a three-match sanction if he was unsuccessful in challenging the grade-four charge at the AFL Tribunal.
Richmond midfielder Daniel Jackson will miss the Tigers' next two games after also taking an early guilty plea for engaging in rough conduct against Fremantle's Hayden Ballantyne.
Essendon forward Leroy Jetta will be unavailable for the Bombers' game against fellow strugglers West Coast on Saturday after pleading guilty to making unreasonable and unnecessary contact to the face of Melbourne defender James Frawley.
North Melbourne defender Daniel Pratt has been fined $1950 for using abusive language towards an umpire.
St Kilda duo Sam Gilbert (rough conduct) and Jason Blake (tripping) were reprimanded for incidents in Saturday's win over Brisbane.
Saints players Adam Pattison, Nick Riewoldt, Lenny Hayes, Jason Gram, Nick Dal Santo, Sam Fisher and Andrew McQualter and Lions Brendan Fevola, Jack Redden, Pearce Hanley, Ashley McGrath, Todd Banfield, Joel Patfull and Amon Buchanan were docked $1200 apiece for engaging in a melee at three-quarter time of the match at the Gabba.
The tribunal was not required to sit on Tuesday night.
