Cresswell quits as Tassie VFL coach
Former Sydney AFL great Daryn Cresswell has quit as coach of the Tasmanian Devils VFL side.
AFL Tasmania's general manager Scott Wade said Cresswell's shock resignation came out of the blue.
"Darren informed me at 2pm today that he had lost his desire to coach," Wade said.
The Devils will be coached by an assistant coach for their round nine clash with Port Melbourne at Bellerive on Saturday.
