Leeds top the of table in Super League
Reigning English Super League champions Leeds won 30-14 at Bradford on Friday to motor eight points clear at the top of the table and notch up a hat-trick of victories over their rivals.
Bradford may have lost the match and even conceded 84 points in their two previous encounters against the Rhinos, but for long periods they played the better rugby league and were in front on two occasions but just could not put more points on the board.
It was always going to be a hard night for Bradford because of key absentees. Half-backs Paul Deacon and Iestyn Harris were out of the reckoning with pulled hamstrings and winger Semi Tadulala had a dislocated shoulder.
