Kewell staying at Leeds
Socceroo Harry Kewell would stay at Leeds United despite recent upheavals at the English club, his agent said.
Bernie Mandic rubbished claims that the Australian was unsettled by recent high profile departures, including Jonathan Woodgate and Robbie Fowler, from the club.
"Harry is not looking to move anywhere. He has not voiced his concerns over what's happened and wants to stay at Leeds," Mandic was quoted as saying in British tabloid the Daily Star.
Leeds was close to reaching agreement on a new contract under which his salary would rise from about STG35,000 ($A98,500) a week to well over STG40,000 ($A113,000), the Daily Mirror said.
