Kewell out to make ManU pay
Australia star Harry Kewell, yet to hit form since his move from Leeds, plans to make Manchester United pay in Saturday's Old Trafford fixture.
Liverpool manager Gerard Houllier has spent STG103 million ($A251.8 million) on players in five years but the STG5 million ($A12.22 million) he spent on Kewell last July seemed a bargain at the time.
The move has yet to pay off but Liverpool legend Ian Rush tipped the forward to come good at Old Trafford on Saturday.
"Harry has been the first to admit he has not been happy with his form this season, but I would not bet against him making a difference at United," said Rush who is on the Liverpool coaching staff.
"I know Harry well and all he has been lacking since coming back from an ankle injury is confidence. But he is still a class act who only needs a split second for all the self-belief to come flooding back.
"He has the ability to deliver a stunning goal or defence-splitting pass, especially at a venue like Old Trafford."
Ryan Giggs scored twice to fire Manchester United to a 2-1 victory at Anfield last November with Kewell pulling a goal back with a quarter of an hour left.
Kewell has scored seven times in the league this season, second to top scorer Michael Owen's 14.
