Tucker swings Tigers to easy win
Flashy swingman Rashad Tucker starred as Melbourne scored a resounding 112-86 NBL away win over a West Sydney side which remained in an unwanted 100 club.
Renowned American showman Tucker scored a game-high 28 points and also tallied 12 rebounds and six assists.
The 30-year-old American wowed the crowd with an array of dunks, dazzling moves to the basket and behind the back passes.
The Tigers, who move to 6-3 for the season, rebounded strongly from last night's loss to the Kings, even though gun centre Chris Anstey endured a horror shooting night.
While he pulled his weight with 17 rebounds, five assists and two blocks, Anstey finished with just five points on one-out-of-ten field goal shooting.
Anstey missed all eight of his first-half field goal attempts, but had already pulled down 11 rebounds with the Tigers ultimately enjoying a massive 67-41 advantage on the boards.
The Razorbacks crashed to their fourth home loss in six games and have conceded over 100 points in every one of their eight games this season.
West Sydney's season record slipped to 3-5 as they suffered their fourth loss in six home games and it was also their equal heaviest defeat of the season.
The Razorbacks led 25-24 at quarter time, but couldn't keep pace with the Tigers after the visitors hit the front four minutes into the second quarter.
Tucker scored nine points, four rebounds and two assists in the second quarter alone, during which back up guard Daryl Corletto contributed eight points.
