Lions' Scott out for three AFL matches
Hard-nosed Brisbane stalwart Chris Scott has been suspended for three AFL games for striking in a Lions reserves match at the weekend.
Scott, 29, on Tuesday pleaded guilty at an AFL Queensland Tribunal for striking Zillmere Eagles player Peter Wolfe when playing Suncoast Lions.
Scott who has played 209 senior AFL games won't be available for selection until round 18 against the Western Bulldogs at Telstra Dome.
The versatile Lion has been sidelined by hamstring and neck injuries which had seen him play in the reserves for the past fortnight.
