Agassi ends 18-year-old Gasquet's run
Andre Agassi has made quick work of French teenager Richard Gasquet, winning 6-2 6-3 in the second round of the Rome Masters.
The 18-year-old Gasquet entered the event with some buzz after ending Roger Federer's 25-match winning streak in the Monte Carlo Masters quarter-finals last month.
But Agassi took just 64 minutes to defeat a nervous Gasquet.
Top-seeded Andy Roddick improved to 7-0 on clay this season with a 6-4 7-5 win over 2002 French Open champion Albert Costa.
The Rome Masters is a major clay-court tuneup for the French Open, which begins May 23.
Last year's French Open runner-up Guillermo Coria breezed past Germany's Nicolas Kiefer 6-1 6-1.
