Bombers-Pies close to sell-out
The Collingwood-Essendon AFL match this Friday night is headed for a sell-out, with all public area tickets gone.
The league announced the only tickets left were for standing area in the AFL reserve, which are exclusive to AFL members.
But the AFL will only consider a live broadcast of the game into Melbourne when all tickets are sold.
The weekend's other two big matches - Saturday's western derby between West Coast and Fremantle and Sunday's Showdown between Adelaide and Port Adelaide - are already sold out.
Those games will be broadcast live into their home cities.
The three matches always attract capacity crowds, but there is even greater interest with the finals a week away.
All six teams are playing for places in the top four, which would give them a finals double chance.
