Fletcher to miss three weeks
West Coast suffered a blow before Friday night's AFL match against Hawthorn with midfielder Chad Fletcher ruled out for up to three weeks with a back injury.
The 23-year-old is the Eagles' leading ball-winner this season with 370 disposals at an average of 23 per match.
He sustained the injury in West Coast's heavy loss to Port Adelaide in last weekend's bruising encounter at AAMI Stadium.
Fletcher and ruckman Michael Gardiner should be available for the round 20 clash against Geelong at Skilled Stadium following further examinations on Gardiner's knee injury.
But the Eagles should be boosted by the return of Daniel Chick from a shoulder injury, for his first match against the Hawks since leaving Glenferrie Oval at the end of last season.
Eagles coach John Worsfold expected onballer Daniel Kerr to bounce back from a neck injury for the match at Subiaco Oval.
Worsfold also said Trent Carroll and Rowan Jones should be available despite both suffering from concussion last weekend.
Veteran defender Ashley McIntosh is also a chance of returning after a successful comeback in the local WAFL competition last weekend.
Worsfold expected the Hawks to feel the fury of an Eagles' team humiliated by the Power in Adelaide.
"I don't have to address it too much, I think the players have their own self pride which will fire them up," he said.
