Warne undergoing scans for side-strain
Shane Warne is undergoing scans after suffering a suspected right side strain during Hampshire's County Championship match against Lancashire.
The Australian leg-spinner and Hampshire captain bowled just three balls in his first session after tea on Thursday before pulling up with the side strain.
He managed to stay on the field for another hour before walking off.
"The legendary Australian leg-spinner will have a scan before the start of play on Friday morning," Hampshire's website reported.
If the strain is serious, Warne could miss the rest of the match and a lively battle with rival spin bowler Muttiah Muralitharan.
