Milne can accept AFL reprimand
St Kilda midfielder Stephen Milne can accept a reprimand for striking after his running battle with Carlton opponent Aaron Joseph in Saturday night's AFL match.
Joseph can also accept a $900 misconduct fine for stepping on Milne's hand.
Milne was charged with a level-two striking offence, which carries a one-match ban.
But he has a five-year good record, reducing the penalty to a reprimand and 93.75 carryover points.
An early plea would reduce the points further to 70.31.
Milne and Joseph clashed frequently during Saturday's game, which the Saints won to secure a home elimination final.
St Kilda will host Sydney this Saturday night at Etihad Stadium.
Carlton's Mitch Robinson and St Kilda's Dean Polo were cleared of incidents.
There was speculation about a tackle that Carlton captain Chris Judd laid on Sam Gilbert.
But the incident was so innocuous that it did not even feature in the league's weekly tribunal email.
