Mcrae leaves Salford
Salford rugby league club have parted company with head coach Shaun McRae with immediate effect.
The Australian has been on sick leave since March.
McRae told the club's official website www.reds.co.uk: "This mutual agreement allows both the club and myself to move on in a fresh direction, the past four years with the Reds have taken my career as a head coach to the 450-game landmark."
His Salford experience included a clean sweep of trophies during one Super league season.
