Graham walks out on Cronulla
Out-of-favour lock Nick Graham has parted company with Cronulla - and Dean Treister may be about to follow.
Graham, who spent more than a decade at the Sharks, on Thursday night announced he would be leaving the NRL club to join English Super League giant Wigan.
The 28-year-old, who was axed by coach Chris Anderson last week after the club's winless start to the season, will jet out on Sunday and make his debut for Wigan next Friday.
"I would have liked to have seen the season out, but it was something that was rushed upon me," Graham said.
"You have to go with the flow and that's the way it is."
Graham's exit is likely to fuel speculation that Melbourne lock Scott Hill is on his way to the Sharks.
Hill has been linked with Anderson - his former coach at the Storm - since going public with his desire to test his value on the open market.
Cronulla gave both Graham and Treister permission to shop themselves around after both were dropped by Anderson in response to the club's woeful start to the season.
Sharks general manager Steve Rogers said the club would not stand in the way of either player if they wanted to leave.
Rogers said he had been told by Treister's manager that the 27-year-old hooker had received several "expressions of interest" from rival clubs.
