Farah wary of destructive Prince
Wests Tigers captain Robbie Farah admits he's wary of his Gold Coast counterpart and former teammate Scott Prince ahead of their NRL clash at Skilled Park on Friday night.
Farah says unless the Tigers are at their best defensively they will be destroyed by Prince's Titans.
The pair were teammates when the Tigers claimed the 2005 premiership but with the Titans struggling this season after just one win from five outings, Farah is expecting a massive game from the No.7.
"It's our job not to allow him the time and space he wants because if we do, we know what he's capable of," Farah said.
"Scotty will try and shoulder the load and he'll know that he needs a big game to pull his team out of what they are going through, especially against his old club.
"If we don't follow the defensive structures that we want to do, he's going to tear us apart.
"I know Princey's a competitor as well and they're on four losses at the moment. As a captain and a leader of their side he's going to be up for a big game."
The Titans will be bolstered by the return from injury of backrowers Greg Bird (suspension) and Ashley Harrison (hamstring) against a Tigers side who slayed South Sydney 30-6 last round.
"I think we've seen this year that teams who are coming off a loss are more desperate," Farah said.
"It's their second game now with Nathan Friend back and Princey was coming off an injury last week as well and they'll both be better for the run.
"And obviously you've got Greg Bird and Harrison back in the side."
But while Farah expects the Titans to be fired-up, he also believes the Tigers are good shape coming into the game after the confidence- boosting win over Souths.
"We were happy with our defence last week, to hold Souths to six points was a great job, going into the game last week they were the best attacking team in the comp in terms of tries scored and I thought it was a great effort," he added.
