Roos praises Goodes' performance
Sydney coach Paul Roos sees no end to the influence of Adam Goodes.
Roos again marvelled at another Goodes highlight reel in the Swans' 38-point victory over Port Adelaide on Saturday night.
Goodes kicked three goals and was a clear cut above the rest, leaving Roos pondering how long the 30-year-old champ can continue.
"Who knows," he said.
But Roos believes Goodes can continue to evolve and eventually master another position - full forward.
"It's always hard to tell with certain types of players, you know Adam has the ability to play as a forward," he said.
"Often midfielders struggle when they go forward but Adam is a 6'4 midfielder/ruckman going forward still with some pace.
"He can go deeper (forward) as well ... that does give that type of player an opportunity to play for longer."
Goodes was crucial as Sydney posted their seventh win of the season, and second in a row entering their midseason break.
Roos expects key forward Daniel Bradshaw to return for their next match, as the sixth-placed Swans stake their finals credentials.
"For us to be our absolute best we need our best players in the team," he said.
"And hopefully, touch wood, injuries are behind us and we can get that team together in the back half of the season."
