Weyman ready to make up for lost time
St George Illawarra prop Michael Weyman is desperate to make up for lost time when he returns from suspension to help the stuttering Dragons in Sunday's NRL blockbuster.
Weyman will line up against the red-hot Sydney Roosters for his first game in a month after copping a four-game suspension for a dangerous throw in his side's round 17 win over Wests Tigers.
The Dragons have won only one of three matches in his absence, and are in danger of relinquishing their hold on top spot on the ladder as the regular season draws to a close.
"It's hard to watch the boys get beat like last week and the week before, especially by close margins," Weyman said.
"All I can do is go back out there and do my best.
"I can't wait - it's been a long time."
The Dragons have struggled without the go-forward that Weyman provides - and despite the stint on the sidelines - the NSW prop said he would be ready to go in the highly-anticipated SCG battle.
"Obviously I'm going to lose a little bit of match fitness by missing five weeks of footy, but I've been training hard, the coaching staff here are pretty good," Weyman said.
