Crows defender Bock out of Dockers clash
A groin injury has forced key Adelaide defender Nathan Bock out of Saturday's AFL match against Fremantle.
Bock hopes to miss just the Fremantle fixture, a game in which Crows players have vowed to show their love for retiring teammate Tyson Edwards.
Edwards will play his 321st game against the Dockers at AAMI Stadium on Saturday afternoon, then retire.
"Tyson has been one of the legends of the club, much loved in the locker room, so we're rapt he's got the opportunity to play a farewell game," Crows midfielder Richard Douglas said on Monday.
"We are looking forward to getting out there and playing well for him and hopefully give him the send off he deserves.
"I'm very happy he has got the chance, and so are all the other guys.
"We love him and we are glad he is going to get the chance to go around again."
Edwards' retirement looms as a motivator for the struggling Crows, currently 15th with just two wins.
Adelaide's rebounding defender Graham Johncock appears a likely inclusion, having served his club imposed one AFL match ban.
Johncock was banned two weeks ago for missing a rehabilitation session on a shoulder injury, but played in the SANFL on Sunday.
