Further scans for injured Nathan Bock
The immediate playing future of key Adelaide defender Nathan Bock is clouded with him due to have further scans on an injured foot.
Bock missed the Crows' 21-point loss to Collingwood with a foot injury, and is no certain starter against Hawthorn at the MCG this Friday night.
Crows coach Neil Craig said Bock was suspected to have bursitis - a fluid sac - in his left heel.
"He's having some more scanning done on Monday to find out if there is anything sinister there," Craig said.
"At the moment we think it's bursitis and hopefully that is all it is.
"We keep our fingers crossed for Nathan because he's an important player for us.
"But if you look at all sides at the moment, they are all starting to creak a bit aren't they, so we are no different to any other side - to have your best experienced 22 on the park at the moment, you would be very lucky."
Brett Burton is also in doubt for the Hawthorn encounter with a bruised buttock but Craig hoped young gun Patrick Dangerfield, who missed the loss to the Magpies, would recover from a back injury and be available.
