Crows lose MacKay for Bulldogs clash
Adelaide wingman David Mackay will miss Friday night's game against the Western Bulldogs at Etihad Stadium because of groin soreness.
Mackay did not train with the main group on Tuesday and a decision to rest him was made after a fitness test on Wednesday.
"The six-day break made it hard for him and we didn't want to risk more damage, so he won't be available," Crows coach Neil Craig said.
However, Adelaide appear set to welcome back both Nathan van Berlo after Scott Stevens.
Van Berlo has recovered from hamstring tightness while Stevens has bounced back from a mild concussion.
