Stanley debut among three Saints changes
St Kilda have made three changes, including handing an AFL debut to teenage key forward Rhys Stanley, as they seek to arrest a form slump.
Running defender Raph Clarke and former Fremantle wingman Brett Peake were the other inclusions for Sunday's clash with West Coast at Subiaco, as the Saints reacted to three losses in their past four games.
Stanley, 19 years old and 200cm, who can play forward and ruck, excited Saints fans with some promising performances in the pre-season.
He was named at centre half-forward to help fill the void left by the continued absence of injured skipper Nick Riewoldt.
Jason Gram was forced out, after undergoing groin surgery, with youngsters David Armitage and Jarryn Geary the other omissions.
The Eagles were hit by the loss of skipper Darren Glass (abdomen) and dropped Mark Nicoski, but regained veteran midfielder Andrew Embley and added tall defender Beau Wilkes.
Hawthorn made three changes for their match against Carlton at Etihad Stadium on Sunday, bringing in small forwards Rhan Hooper and Michael Osborne and defender Tom Murphy.
Illness forced out Cameron Stokes, with Beau Muston and Matt Suckling dropped.
The Blues recalled tall forward Lachie Henderson, to replace the suspended Jarrad Waite, while Mitch Robinson replaced the injured Kane Lucas (hamstring).
Adelaide were forced to leave out Bernie Vince and Matthew Jaensch, due to club-imposed suspensions, for Sunday's AAMI Stadium meeting with Brisbane, and also dropped Tony Armstrong.
Utility Jack Gunston will make his AFL debut, while Scott Thompson and David Mackay return from injury.
The Lions made one change, regaining mobile ruckman Mitch Clark from injury to replace Matt Austin.
