LeCras no certainty to take on Kangaroos
West Coast coach John Worsfold is unsure whether star AFL forward Mark LeCras will be fit in time to tackle North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium on Saturday.
LeCras missed last week's three-point loss to Port Adelaide with a hamstring complaint and while the 23-year-old has moved freely at training this week, Worsfold said the small forward was no certainty to line up against the Roos.
"It's always hard to put percentages on it because I don't watch his progress," Worsfold said on Wednesday.
"But he's progressing really well, he hasn't missed a beat in terms of what they've asked him to do so he's following the rehab program really well.
"We'd like to think he's a chance this week."
The Eagles will have to make at least three changes to replace suspended defender Shannon Hurn and injured duo Mark Nicoski (shoulder) and Sam Butler (facial fracture).
Worsfold said Ben McKinley, Matt Rosa, Quinten Lynch and Will Schofield were in line for selection along with rookies Ashton Hams, Lewis Stevenson and Andrew Strijk.
