LeCras named West Coast's best
West Coast sharpshooter Mark LeCras capped off a stellar AFL season by taking out the Eagles' best and fairest award.
LeCras kicked 63 goals from 21 games to take the award out with 294 votes, edging out Matt Priddis (286), Beau Waters (281) and Dean Cox (271).
Eagles young gun Nic Naitanui continued his rise up the ranks by finishing fifth, with former Blue Josh Kennedy coming sixth.
The highlight of the season for LeCras came in the round 16 win over Essendon when he exploded with 12 goals.
Priddis stood tall throughout the season despite West Coast's midfield being decimated by injuries, while Waters was inspirational in his comeback from a career-threatening elbow injury.
Mark Nicoski won the Chris Mainwaring Medal for the best clubman.
