Bradshaw out of Collingwood clash
A hamstring injury will keep Brisbane Lions forward Daniel Bradshaw out of Saturday night's AFL game against Collingwood at the MCG.
Bradshaw was named to play despite missing just the one game through his injury, but did not recover well enough after training on Wednesday to get the nod.
"Early in the week we probably weren't too sure and the physio gave me a little bit of a surprise that he might have been a chance on Tuesday," Lions coach Michael Voss said on Friday.
"We ran that to ground as much as we possibly could and he just didn't come up.
"It was a little bit out of hope that he'd pull up OK.
"On Wednesday he ran around and did everything and got up to top pace, so the fortunate thing is we've got him for next week."
The Lions will decide between who of emergencies Jason Roe and Travis Johnstone replace Bradshaw.
The Lions (sixth) and Magpies (fourth) are both locked on 11 wins entering the round 18 game.
