Clarke agrees to extend stay at Dockers
Beanpole Fremantle ruckman Zac Clarke has agreed to extend his contract with the Dockers until the end of the 2011 AFL season.
Clarke, snared with pick No.37 in last year's national draft, accepted the option of signing on for an additional year on top of the two-year contract he signed when he was drafted.
Along with Stephen Hill and Nic Suban, Clarke is the third draftee from the 2008 National Draft to commit to Fremantle for three years.
Clarke passed up the opportunity to play college basketball in the US in order to focus on a football career.
The 19-year-old was named as an emergency for the Dockers' recent loss to Adelaide but at 203cm and 83kg, still has some development to go.
