Harvey the 'Roos' best again
North Melbourne star Brent Harvey equalled the AFL club's record by winning his fourth best and fairest award.
The speedy 30-year-old midfielder-forward's four Syd Barker Medals have come in the past six seasons, with the night's win his second in succession.
He joins two-time premiership skipper Wayne Carey, another dual premiership player David Dench and 1965 Brownlow Medallist Noel Teasdale as four-time winners.
Harvey was the club's top possession-winner and also kicked 25 goals in the `Roos' 23 games this season.
He polled 759 votes, to finish ahead of ruckman Drew Petrie (731) and two-time former winner Brady Rawlings (671).
Petrie won the best clubman award, while Gavin Urquhart was named rookie of the year.
