Sailor pulls out of clash with PNG
Dual international Wendell Sailor has pulled out of the Australian Prime Minister's XIII side for the rugby league clash against Papua New Guinea later this month.
Sailor has cited personal reasons for being unable to play in the World Cup warm-up match at Port Moresby on September 28.
It would have been the 34-year-old's first representative rugby league jumper since 2001 when he decided to convert to rugby union.
Penrith Panthers five-eighth Maurice Blair has joined the squad with Sailor's initial replacement, South Sydney winger Nathan Merritt, also ruled out with injury.
