Banned Sailor makes final appeal to CAS
Dual international Wendell Sailor will appeal his two-year ban for testing positive to cocaine.
The Australian Rugby Union (ARU) terminated the Wallaby winger's contract last month after he was found guilty by an independent judicial committee of taking a prohibited substance.
Sources close to Sailor confirmed papers had been lodged with the Court of Arbitration for Sport on behalf of the 32-year-old Queenslander.
Sailor last month described his two-year suspension for cocaine use as "grossly unfair" and vowed to make a comeback even if he had to serve out the ban.
