Grant into PM's league side for Snowden
Penrith prop Tim Grant has been called into the Prime Minister's XIII rugby league side to face Papua New Guinea, following the withdrawal of Kade Snowden.
Newcastle-bound front rower Snowden battled a back injury for the second half of the NRL season with Cronulla, and may require further off-season surgery before he begins with the Knights.
Grant is considered one of the best up and coming front rowers in the game, after another solid season for the Panthers which also saw him represent City Origin.
The Prime Minister's XIII squad will make their way to Cairns on Thursday September 22, before transferring to PNG the next day.
The match will be played in Lae, PNG, on September 25.
