Stoltenberg quits as Hewitt's coach
Lleyton Hewitt's Wimbledon preparations have received a setback with coach Jason Stoltenberg reportedly resigning for family reasons.
Hewitt's assistant coach Roger Rasheed has replaced Stoltenberg, who has decided to return to Melbourne to spend more time with his wife and two young children, according to a report in the Daily Telegraph.
"For me it's time to move on," Stoltenberg said.
"I believe Lleyton is poised to defend his Wimbledon title, which I know he holds so dear.
"It's been a pleasure and honour to have worked with Lleyton for the past 18 months."
Stoltenberg linked with Hewitt after the world No.1 split with Darren Cahill at the end of the 2001 season.
Hewitt understood Stoltenberg's decision and didn't expect it to affect him heading into the grasscourt season.
"Jason's been great for my game and I understand the reasons why he has taken this decision," he said.
"It's a lifestyle decision and I respect that.
"He's been honest about it and with him working closely with Roger since December, I don't see that there will be a problem."
