Aussies favoured in Calcutta
Australia's one-day cricket side will arrive in Calcutta on Friday for the final leg of the tri-series tournament.
The world champions will go into Tuesday's final at Eden Gardens as raging favourites, having won the past five pool games.
In the most recent win, Australia thrashed India by 61 runs in Bangalore after posting a massive 2-347 thanks to hundreds from Adam Gilchrist and Ricky Ponting.
With the top order back in form, Australia's biggest headache leading into the final will be deciding on the make-up of its team for the series decider.
Fast bowler Nathan Bracken - the leading wicket-taker this series - will come back into the side after being rested, meaning one of fellow quicks Michael Kasprowicz, Brad Williams and Andy Bichel will have to miss out.
The trio did a good job keeping India at arm's length as the home side finished on 8-286.
The Australians will rest and won't know who they play in the final until Saturday night, when India plays New Zealand in Hyderabad.
Both teams are locked on 10 points with the winner of Saturday's clash to get another shot at trying to upset Australia.
